How Research Happens

To make a difference, HIV prevention research and its results have to be understood by many stakeholders.

That’s why AVAC works to connect scientists and stakeholders through every stage of HIV prevention research and implementation—from identifying promising scientific questions for further study, through the design and conduct of clinical trials, to the rollout and marketing of proven technologies.
